To complement the dimpled white strap, the buckle has been redesigned to include a magnetic ball marker that’s built into the buckle. It’s used to mark the position of your golf ball on the green, enabling you to pick up your own ball and allow other players to putt without having their line to the hole obstructed. Embossed with a grippy TAG Heuer shield, the marker easily slides out of the buckle, and can be reattached just as easily. The markings of the bezel correspond to 18 holes on a golf course, and offer an at-a-glance scorecard, indicating whether the player is below, on or above par. The 1.39-inch OLED display sits under a sapphire crystal and is surrounded by a graduated ceramic bezel. The pushers are also sleeker and offer the user a more mechanical click, while the crown grows in size for easier manoeuvring. However, through refining the case profile, sculpting and curving the lugs, TAG Heuer has managed to make this a wearable watch, even at 15.3mm thick.
